CAPTION:
With delegates and guests arriving in Canberra to witness the opening of the first Australian Parliament House on 9 May 1927, Murdoch's menswear store in Sydney advertised their specially designed 'Kaberra' hat for the occasion. This "winsome Australian model, - genuine 'Aussie', both in material and workmanship" was available in black, or green, myrtle, fawn, or three shades of grey.
